The Hidden Histories program was developed in partnership with Living Derby, ensuring artefacts and stories from the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary and Derby City General Hospital are gathered and retold for all to enjoy.

In 2010 Hidden Histories features as part of the Illuminate Festival, Celebrating the Life of Florence Nightingale and her links to the area throughout 2010. For a full city and county wide program of events  follow www.illuminate2010.com

Hidden Histories projects to date include

The Hidden Histories 15 month calendar telling hidden stories from the old Derby Hospitals. Distributed to 100 departments it tracked the countdown to the completion of the new Royal Derby Hospital.  Show & Tell a month long project engaging patients, visitors and staff  in the growing hospital archive.  Collecting their stories and reminiscences.‘My most treasured object… ’this was a month long consultation and installation based in locations around the hospital.
